Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch

Solid heist fantasy following on from the first book in the series. Crosses, double-crosses, technical thievery, wise-ass banter, piracy, what's not to like? Relatively high-quality world-building, solid dialog, and even a little pathos. About as good as a standard fantasy novel can get without getting outside the genre's comfort zone.
The plot came a bit unspooled in the fourth act, but the first half was taut and excellent. If I could rate it three and a half stars I would.
